Yesterday they said that they were stopping their parliamentary work, today they stepped back - Irakli Kobakhidze on the UNM

Yesterday they said that they were stopping their parliamentary work, today they stepped back, it seems that they could not let go the mandates - for us, it is not important where they will be. Such a statement made today the Chairman of the Georgian Dream, while talking about the United National Movement.

“Neither by being in the hall nor outside the hall can they contribute to the good works of the country. Therefore, it does not matter to us where the UNM will be - outside the Parliament, in the boycott, or in the legislature. We have our agenda and we will continue to act with this agenda. If they back off, it shows their inconsistency, which is good.

There is calm in the country, if we do not consider the storm in a glass, which the UNM is trying to spin with its new chairman, Levan Khabeishvili. There is peace in the country and the peaceful development of the country will continue. If someone wants to disrupt the peace in the country, we will not allow them to do so, and in fact they do not have the resources to do so. No one can disturb the peace in Georgia, it is their job to imitate it.

The opposition is sitting in the Parliament today, if the radical part of the opposition is not in the legislature, Georgia will not lose anything. Their leader is Khabeishvili, and you can judge for yourself what resources they have.

If the UNM and other radicals are not in the session hall, it will only have a positive effect on the parliamentary work process. The parliamentary working environment will be very constructive.

As for their internal discussions regarding quitting their mandates, I will say it once again - they said yesterday that they were stopping their parliamentary activities, today they had to back down”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
