The Chairman of the Parliament writes on Twitter that one of the Georgia’s priorities is the prevention of all forms of violence against women.

“Preventing and combatting all forms of violence against women is one of the priorities of Georgia.

By ratifying the Istanbul Convention in 2017, we have committed to tackling this serious violation of human rights.

This step brings Georgia ahead of six EU member states”, - tweeted Shalva Papuashvili.
