Prime Minister meets CEO of French Airbus Helicopters

Within the scope of the Munich Conference, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Bruno Even, CEO of Airbus Helicopters.

The conversation at the meeting focused on the existing successful cooperation, namely it was pointed out that the Interior Ministry of Georgia signed an agreement to purchase three new helicopters from the French company Airbus Helicopters. H145 is a multipurpose helicopter with a capacity to perform police, transport, search, and rescue operations. The new helicopters will be fully equipped for firefighting and mountain rescue operations.

The Prime Minister underlined Georgia’s investment opportunities and favorable business environment. According to him, the country is a reliable and stable partner. Despite the damage inflicted by the pandemic years on the economy, the country exceeded expectations and, similar to 2021, completed the year 2022 with a double-digit economic growth.
