Ilia Darchiashvili to participate in UN General Assembly special session relating to the anniversary of war in Ukraine

Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia is on a working visit to New York. Ilia Darchiashvili will participate in the 17th plenary meeting of the 11th special session of the United Nations General Assembly scheduled for February 22 - 23 in connection with the anniversary of the war in Ukraine. He will address the participants of the meeting.

Within the framework of the session it is planned to discuss the draft resolution initiated within the framework of the UN “The principles of the United Nations Charter, which are the basis of a comprehensive, fair and long-term peace in Ukraine”.

Darchiashvili will also hold meetings with the President of the 77th session of the UN General Assembly and foreign ministers.
