Levan Ioseliani’s candidacy for the post of Public Defender to be voted in the Parliament

Levan Ioseliani’s candidacy for the post of Public Defender will be presented and voted on without discussion at today’s plenary session of the Parliament.

The parliamentary majority and part of opposition will support his candidacy.

A total of 90 MPs votes are required to elect an Ombudsman.

The candidacy of Levan Ioseliani was submitted by the political group Citizens.
