“Georgia still holds advanced positions in the world rankings. In the 2023 index of economic freedom, Georgia is on the 35th place, ahead of 11 member states of the EUd and all the candidate countries.

According to the report, along with other parameters, Georgia has a higher result than the world average in terms of efficiency of justice.

This study, as well as the final evaluations of Georgia, Ukraine and Moldova published by the European Commission in January, once again show how unfair it was to refuse to grant candidate status to Georgia”, - writes Shalva Papuashvili.
