German Foreign Minister will visit Georgia on March 23-24. According to the German Embassy in Georgia, meetings of Annalena Baerbock with the President, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia are scheduled as part of the visit.
She will meet with students, as well as representatives of civil society and the opposition.
“The program also includes a visit to the administrative line with the separatist region of South Ossetia and talks with representatives of the European Union Monitoring Mission. Germany has sent the most employees to this mission.
The main topics of the meetings will be Germany’s support for Georgia’s rapprochement with the EU and NATO and the necessary reforms.
The purpose of the visit is to establish close and direct contacts between the two countries and to deepen good cooperation for the European future of Georgia”, - reads the information.
