The Executive Secretary of the Georgian Dream, claimed President of Georgia had “strengthened the false campaign” of the United National Movement with her address to the Parliament.

Mamuka Mdinaradze accused Salome Zourabichvili of having “reinforced the false campaign of the UNM and their goals against this country”, and of not being “objective" in her remarks.

“The goal of the domestic radical opposition is to see the country fail in being granted the European Union membership candidate status, only because they want to change the Government in Georgia by any means and in any form.

Does not your position directly or indirectly align with these goals? While the European Union itself, at the level of criteria, recognized that Georgia had deserved the candidate status [in 2022], today you said that Georgia did not deserve the status.

You are not objective, strengthening the narrative of the UNM is not objectivity, it deepens polarization”, - said Mamuka Mdinaradze.
