OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Foreign Minister of North Macedonia continues his visit to Georgia - Bujar Osmani to visit the occupation line today

The OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Foreign Minister of North Macedonia and Georgian President reviewed current regional developments and the situation in the occupied territories of Georgia.

Bujar Osmani and Salome Zourabichvili discussed the current conflict in Ukraine as a threat to regional and European security, emphasized the significance of maintaining peace in the Caucasus region.

The President thanked the OSCE for its fruitful cooperation and assistance in advancing crucial reforms and strengthening democracy, “which are so relevant for Georgia’s EU integration process, particularly when the country is awaiting the EU candidate status”.

The OSCE Chairman-in-Office will visit today the occupation line.
