Prime Minister of Georgia meets OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia

Key aspects of international cooperation with the Chairing Country of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and progress achieved by Georgia on its path to the European integration were among the main topics discussed by and between Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister of Georgia and Bujar Osmani. 2023 OSCE Chairperson-in-Office and Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia today.

Readiness towards deepening the existing fruitful cooperation was expressed at the meeting held today within the Government Administration. Significance of the visit paid by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of North Macedonia during the OSCE Chairmanship was highlighted.

Discussion was also related to the current situation in the occupied territories of Georgia. Irakli GAribashvili expressed gratitude to Bujar Osmani for the support demonstrated towards the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Georgia.

The Prime Minister of Georgia welcomed the significant priorities announced by North Macedonia during the OSCE Chairmanship.

Meeting was attended by Ambassador Igor Djundev, Head of the Permanent Mission of North Macedonia to the OSCE; Adelina Marku, Deputy Head of Mission at the OSCE Chairpersonship of North Macedonia; Ambassador Viorel Moșanu, Special Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office for the South Caucasus; Ilia Darchiashvili, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia; Revaz Javelidze, Head of Government Administration; H.E. Ketevan Tsikhelashvili, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Austria and Permanent Representative of Georgia to the OSCE and Other International Organizations Based in Vienna.
