It has been revealed that our citizen, unfortunately, the former Minister of Defense, [David] Kezerashvili, is already referred to as a fraudster of international level. Such a statement made today the Prime Minister of Georgia.

“I want to respond to one very disturbing fact, this is an international transnational crime that was investigated and solved - the case of call centers.

First of all, because it concerns the implementation of a fraud scheme of an unprecedented scale, committed by our citizen, as a result of which almost one billion dollars or euros were stolen in European countries.

In fact, you remember that for the past year, there were constant accusations from the radical, extremist opposition, who were themselves funded by this stolen money. This, of course, is not only shameful, but also a disturbing fact.

We have had a very intensive cooperation with the German investigative service, our investigative services have been actively working for the last two years, it was a very large work that was done jointly, and we, for our part, made a significant contribution to this international investigation, the investigation of an international fraud scheme.

The truth is obvious, it has been revealed that our citizen, unfortunately, the former Minister of Defense, [David] Kezerashvili, is now being referred to as an international fraudster, which is certainly catastrophic, and it is even more disturbing that the mentioned person, who first robbed the army, then terrorized businesses, has now developed an unprecedented fraud scheme across Europe, his company robbed pensioners - billions of dollars.

So, when representatives of our so-called radical, extremist opposition will meet with our European partners, I want to tell our European friends that they are meeting with representatives of the party financed by the robber of their citizens.

This is, of course, a shameful fact, but I am glad that this truth has been revealed”, - said Irakli Garibashvili.
