Today, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili met with Zbigniew Rau, Foreign Minister of Poland.
The relations between the two countries were discussed in the meeting at the Government Administration. Focus was made on bilateral trade and economic cooperation, and the importance of further strengthening ties in this direction was emphasized.
Special attention during the conversation was paid to the importance of Poland’s strong support for Georgia’s accession to the EU. According to Irakli Garibashvili, Georgia welcomes Poland’s statements made in every possible format in support of granting Georgia the candidate status Poland’s.
