The United National Movement talking about pro-Westernism is the biggest problem. Such a comment made the Mayor of Tbilisi in response to the rally held by the UNM in front of the Tbilisi City Hall.

“This organization, which is called the UNM, has absolutely nothing to do with democracy, pro-Westernism. It is a criminal organization, which by its actions, during its time in power, proved and showed the population of our country and the whole world the opposite of a good government. These people and this group have nothing to do with democracy, democratic values, Europe or Europeanness. They are as different as heaven and earth.

We know who these people [the opposition] are, what their motivation is, and we can directly say that their main goal, task and motivation is to prevent the country from getting status, and they are doing everything for that. Of course, our people, country, government deserves the status and we deserved it when it was given to other countries”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
