Is David Arakhamia’s statement an attempt to interfere in the country’s internal affairs? Statements were made about this in the Georgian opposition spectrum.

Levan Bezhashvili, member of the United National Movement, believes that Arakhamia repeats the position of the West and this should not be considered as interference in the internal affairs of the country.

“I think this statement should not be considered as an interference in Georgia’s domestic affairs. This is the official attitude, the position of our Western partners in many countries, both in Europe and in the US.

Everyone has an expectation that in the 2024 elections there will be a constitutional, legal change of Government, since today the Georgian Dream does not represent the position of the Georgian people.

With this statement, the position of our Western partners became known to our society once again”, - said Levan Bezhashvili.

David Arakhamia, the Chairman of the People’s Servant faction in Ukrainian Rada, said in a TV interview that he is sure that the Government will change after the elections in Georgia. He also noted that the Georgian government does not deserve the status of a candidate and the European future.
