The Minister of Internal Affairs held an introductory meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel, Hadas Meitzad.
Within the framework of the meeting, the parties emphasized the effectiveness of established cooperation between the law enforcement agencies of two countries. Vakhtang Gomelauri highlighted the role of the police attaches in deepening bilateral cooperation and noted that the Georgian police attaché will be deployed to Israel in the nearest future, which will make existing police cooperation even more fruitful and intensive.
The parties also discussed upcoming visit of the Head of the National Police of Israel to Georgia, which will take place in the nearest future.
At the end of the meeting, the parties expressed their desire to further strengthen existing cooperation in the field of law enforcement and set future perspectives to enhance existing relation in various directions.
