If Georgian Dream had wanted consultation and impartial people, they would not have appointed a senior official of the General Inspectorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs to the High Council of Justice. Such a statement made Paata Manjgaladze, MP from the Strategy Aghmashenebeli, while answering a question regarding participation in consultations with the majority relating to the candidates of the High Council of Justice.
“It seems that the ruling team does not understand the meaning of the word consultation.
Consultation means that there is some choice, but there is no choice. Instead of consultation, when we all said in the morning that we were ready for it, they chose the path of secret deals.
They selected the candidates they wanted, and what should I consult about - Should I help [Irakli] Kobakhidze and [Mamuka] Mdinaradze to fill in the 3 missing votes? Should I perform the function of a notary?”, - said Paata Manjgaladze.
