Georgian Prime Minister met with Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Emir of Qatar.

Irakli Garibashvili and the Emir of Qatar discussed the dynamic of productive cooperation between the two countries across a variety of areas. It was noted that deepening the economic cooperation between Georgia and Qatar is high on the economic diplomacy agendas of both countries. Commitment to deepening and strengthening the current economic and trade ties was expressed.

According to the Prime Minister, the Government of Georgia welcomes investments made by Qatari businesspersons in the various spheres of the country.
