We support all relevant documents that condemn military aggression, support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine, but we don’t impose sanctions against Russia. Such a statement made today the Chairman of the Georgian Dream, while commenting the speech of Prime Minister at the Qatar Economic Forum.

“Among them, naturally, the Prime Minister touched on the important topic related to the ongoing war in Ukraine and our relations, including the relations between Russia and Georgia. Our policy is very clear.

We, of course, express our solidarity with Ukraine, the country, the Ukrainian people, and this is expressed not only by words, but also by concrete actions, we support all relevant documents, where military aggression is condemned and where support is expressed for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.

Along with this, our position is, naturally, clear regarding sanctions. We do not impose sanctions against the Russian Federation. The logic is simple, we certainly cannot destroy our own people, our own country.

I will remind you which officials requested in an open text to open a 2nd front in Georgia. It was the Secretary of the Security Council, who is no highest official following the President Danilov.
