I have expressed my impression that the President will pardon Gvaramia earlier too, said opposition MP Khatuna Samnidze, while commenting the President’s speech in the European Parliament.

“In such a situation, it is especially important that Georgia is represented by Salome Zourabichvili, who is defending the country’s European future.

I have expressed my impression that the President will pardon [Nika] Gvaramia earlier too. I think she may use this authority at a particular moment when it has a different political weight. Her warning to Georgian Dream is another proof that Georgian Dream is trying to put pressure on the President by threatening, blackmailing and finger-wagging, because they seem to have a feeling that the President may pardon Gvaramia”, - said Khatuna Samnidze.
