Vehicle traffic on Rikoti Pass was restored under a “special regime”, with the recommendation of specialists, the Roads Department of Georgia said.

The Rikoti Pass was closed due to “extreme necessity” on the 169 km section of the Tbilisi – Senaki - Leselidze highway.

Traffic was restricted because of the heavy rain, which caused landslides that blocked several sections.
