The evaluations of non-governmental organizations are lustration of the fact that they are collective Sergo Orjonikidze, they hope that we will not be granted status. Such a statement made today the Chairman of the Georgian Dream, while commenting the evaluation document of NGOs regarding Georgia’s progress in fulfilling the 12 points of the European Commission.
“This is the approach of Sergo Orjonikidze, they gathered in the Soros Foundation, the collective Sergo Orjonikidzes, collective Vano Chkhikvadzes - these NGOs, whose goal is to prevent Georgia from getting the candidate status in any way.
These particular NGOs, of course, we are not talking about all NGOs, we are talking about the richest NGOs, have the only goal to prevent this decision from being made in favor of our country and then use it once again to get on the stage and demand the resignation of Government, which they did last year in June. You all remember what happened. Georgia’s candidate status was not granted unfairly, exactly these NGOs came on stage and demanded the resignation of the Government.
They are hoping for the same thing here, that we will not be given the status of a candidate in December, and these NGOs can once again take the stage and once again demand the resignation of the government together with their friends politicians.
We hope to be granted candidate status in December. As for their evaluations, this is a complete lustration of the fact that they are collective Sergo Orjonikidze”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
