The information spread by opposition MPs that the Government gave me more than 104,000 hectares of land in Racha – Lechkhumi - Kvemo Svaneti for only GEL 11 is a lie. Such a statement made today businessman David Khidasheli.

“We bought a license for hunting. It has nothing to do with the forest, land or people. On the contrary, people should be employed to clear the forest, and a lot of them. Read and understand the terms and conditions.

There is nothing more than an obligation, especially since I offered everyone to participate in a half share, but no one participated”, - explained David Khidasheli.

Members of the “Reforms Group”, Khatuna Samnidze, Theona Akubardia, and also the independent MP, Tamar Kordzaia, announced today that the Government gave businessman David Khidasheli a 104,712 hectares land in the Racha – Lechkhumi - Kvemo Svaneti territory for a period of 49 years for only 11 GEL.
