Mykhailo Podolyak, Ukrainian presidential adviser, responds to the death of Wagner boss Yevgeny Prigozhin.

“It is obvious that Putin does not forgive anyone for his own bestial terror ... The demonstrative elimination of Prigozhin and the Wagner command two months after the coup attempt is a signal from Putin to Russia’s elites ahead of the 2024 elections.

‘Beware! Disloyalty equals death’”, - said Mykhailo Podolyak.

Prigozhin was on the passenger list of a jet which crashed killing all on board, Russia’s civil aviation authority has said. TASS news agency said the plane caught fire on hitting the ground. The aircraft had been in the air for less than half an hour, it said.
