The Special Investigation Service [SIS] arrested one person for disclosure of secrets of personal life.

The conducted investigation established that the accused born in 2003 introduced a 15-year-old girl through a social network and gained trust through active communication with her. As a result, the minor victim sent him intimate photos and videos. The accused took advantage of this and created a profile on a social network using an image of the victim. He was offering users to buy intimate photos and videos of a 15-years-old girl in exchange for money. After depositing the money in his account, he was sending intimate photos and videos of the victim’s naked body to the buyer.

The SIS, after the victim reported the incident, conducted the investigation with full protection of the minor"s confidentiality. As a result of the conducted investigative and operational measures, a man born in 2003 was identified, from whose mobile phone, intimate photos and videos, as well as correspondence confirming the transactions, were recovered.

The employees of the SIS arrested the accused in Zugdidi district for the crime provided by Article 1571 of the Criminal Code of Georgia. The Crime shall be punished by imprisonment for a term of 6 to 9 years.
