In the disaster zone of Guria region, the firemen and rescuers of Emergency Situations Management Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs continue intensive activities.

Another body was found during the search operation and the search for 1 person continues.

At this stage, 11 citizens, including children and minors, have been rescued by employees of Emergency Situations Management Service and taken to a safe place. Two bodied have been detected so far, while the search for one minor continues.

Representatives of various departments of the Ministry of Internal Affairs are mobilized at the disaster sites, as well as appropriate equipment, while search operation is being carried out intensively.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs would like to call on residents of the affected region to refrain from moving and follow instructions of the representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the spot.
