Groups of geologists continue to work in Guria region, they are in different locations.

According to the recommendation of geologists, part of the population should leave their homes, because the buildings are damaged and there is a danger of the disaster repeating. Cleaning works are underway on internal rural roads.

According to geologist Giorgi Shantelidze, the situation in the disaster zone is serious and until now, geologists are conducting relevant work at the scene.

“Today, 10 groups are working in different locations. From what we have checked, 3 families have to be evacuated to a safe place”, - added the geologist.
