Visa-free regime introduced for citizens of China in Georgia

From September 11, 2023, a simplified visa regime has been introduced for the citizens of the People’s Republic of China and persons permanently residing in China.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chinese citizens and persons permanently residing in the country will be able to enter Georgia without a visa and stay in the territory of the country for 30 days.

“The aforementioned change has already been included in the 225th resolution of the government, the regulation came into force on September 11, 2023”, - reads the information of Georgian MFA.
