It is the first time when a citizen of our country was sanctioned, said today the Mayor of Tbilisi, while commenting the sanctioning of former Prosecutor General Otar Partskhaladze by the US.

“You know that we do not join the sanctions, but we always take into account the sanctions imposed on Russia, and we pay attention so that our country is not used to circumvent the sanctions. Important steps are being taken for this. This attitude will continue in the future.

As for Otar Partskhaladze. He worked in the system even during the previous Government. For 9 or 10 years, I don’t remember exactly, he has not been engaged in public service, he is busy with his private activities and businesses. The people who have the most influence on the government are the people of Georgia”, - said Kakha Kaladze.
