Two companies have advanced to the 2nd stage of selecting a private partner for the Anaklia Deep-Sea Port project.

At a regular meeting at the Ministry of Economy, the interdepartmental government commission, created to select a private partner for the Anaklia port project, reviewed in detail the documentation of the companies participating in the project and decided to advance two of the applicants.

Members of the commission signed the relevant protocols during the meeting.

“Based on the results of the qualification assessment of candidates, qualified candidates will be given a period of several months to submit a technical, commercial and financial proposal. After that, the commission will determine the winner, and the Ministry of Economy will begin negotiations on a concession and a partnership agreement”, - reads the statement of the agency.
