The Speaker, Shalva Papuashvili and the President of the Senate of Romania, Nicolae Ciucă signed the Joint Declaration, aiming at the facilitation of the dialogue and sharing experience in the spheres of common interests between the Parliament of Georgia and the Senate of Romania.

The Declaration envisages the enhancement of parliamentary cooperation in various directions, including regular bilateral visits, intensification of ties between the Friendship Groups and sector Committees, as well as offering the qualification programs for the staffers etc.

The Declaration affirms the support of Romania to the territorial integrity and NATO and EU integration of Georgia, as well as its commitment to supporting Georgia on this path.
