My visit to China this year stands as a remarkable milestone in our bilateral relations, elevating them to the esteemed level of strategic partnership. It was announced by the Prime Minister of Georgia while delivering a keynote speech at the Official Reception Marking 74TH Anniversary of the People’s Republic of China.
As Irakli Garibashvili noted, Georgia – boasting its distinct history – unique traditions, and progressive aspirations, acknowledges a strong bond with China.
“This friendship and connection emphasizes how similar values can bridge geographical gaps and unite people in collective endeavors.
In this light, allow me to emphasize the enduring friendship and traditionally successful cooperation between our countries. China, as one of the first nations to recognize Georgia’s independence and establish diplomatic ties with us 31 years ago, holds a special place in our hearts.
We highly value China’s unwavering support to Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders. In turn, Georgia upholds the “One China Principle” and this mutual solidarity forms the solid foundation for the robust bond between our nations.
As a testament to these ties, my visit to China this year stands as a remarkable milestone in our bilateral relations, elevating them to the esteemed level of strategic partnership, which is based on mutual respect and understanding. During this historic visit, I had the privilege of engaging in meaningful discussions with President Xi Jinping and Premier Li to explore new avenues for collaboration. I firmly believe that our vision for shared prosperity and sustainable development will yield tangible and mutually beneficial results, - said the Head of the Government.
