With one simple joke, the opposition, President and her representatives collapsed in exactly half an hour. Such a statement made Mamuka Mdinaradze, Chairman of the Georgian Dream faction, while responding to the statement of Georgian Dream’s Chairman, Irakli Kobakhidze, that the amendment to the law On Assemblies and Manifestations won’t be sent to the President for signature.
“To explain very simply, what the opposition, the President, her representatives claimed during the 3-day trial of the Constitutional Court, a similar statement was made by Irakli Kobakhidze, and social networks came down, and serious comments were made.
I personally thought that such a simple illustration was really impossible. With one simple joke, their jurisprudence, erudition, qualification, and perception were all put into doubt. They began to argue seriously until they called the President’s administration and found out that it had already been forwarded.
When they saw that the bill had already been forwarded, and after that they came to their senses and realized that they were angry about the same thing which they had been arguing for 3 days. It was a complete lustration, the like of which I rarely remember”, - said Mamuka Mdinaradze.
