Natia Turnava, Acting Governor of the National Bank of Georgia, will participate in the Annual Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank in Marrakesh as part of her working visit.
Within the framework of the working visit, Natia Turnava will hold meetings with Bo Li - IMF Deputy Managing Director, Paul Hilbers - IMF Executive Director, and Jihad Azour - Director of the IMF Middle East and Central Asia Department. Meetings are planned with representatives of the Federal Reserve Bank, the management of Clearstream - international central securities depository (ICSD), the management of rating agencies and investment companies, representatives of Visa and Mastercard international payment systems. Acting Governor of the NBG will also take part in the Investor Conference organized by Bank of America, the high-ranking roundtable discussion organized by the IMF, as well as the meeting organized for Central Bank Governors and Finance Ministers of the Caucasus and Central Asia region.
Managers of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, as well as economic teams from more than 200 countries of the world will participate in the Annual Meetings of October 11-14.
