The Constitutional Court of Georgia will announce its ruling in President’s impeachment case on Monday, October.

“The application was registered on September 14 and was submitted to the Plenum on September 15. The deadline to send the verdict to the Parliament is October 14. However, October 14 is a day off. According to Article 41 of the Constitutional Court of Georgia Regulations, the ruling should be sent on the first working day. It is October 16”, - explained Merab Turava, the Chairman of the Constitutional Court

The Parliament of Georgia will hold an impeachment vote against Salome Zourabichvili after the Constitutional Court makes its ruling.
