Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia solves transnational crime

The Prosecutor’s Office of Georgia has solved a transnational crime, charging a Nigerian citizen with fraudulently acquiring a considerable sum of money – EUR 37,473 - belonging to a Norwegian company.

According to the agency, the offense is punishable by 6 to 9 years in jail.

The detainee has already been remanded in custody. Work is underway to identify other members of the criminal group.
