The Parliament of Georgia fails to impeach the President Salome Zourabichvili, with 86 votes in favor and 1 against.

As it known, 100 votes were needed for impeachment, but only 90 MPs registered.

Voting on the issue of removal from office by impeachment was conducted by secret ballot. During the voting, in the hall of plenary sessions of the Parliament, in addition to the majority members of Georgian Dream, members of European Socialists, Girchi and MP Aleko Elisashvili were present.
