The United States will continue to further deepen its strong strategic cooperation with Georgia. Such a statement made today the US Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia Robin Dunnigan after the meeting with the Minister of Defence of Georgia.

“I just had an excellent meeting with Minister Juansher Burchuladze. In the meeting, I reiterated the US’ absolute commitment to our very strong military cooperation.

I also reiterated the US’ absolute support for Georgia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. We have long been the strongest supporters of Georgia when it comes to sovereignty and territorial integrity. And I gave the Minister my commitment that I will continue to work on this with the Government of Georgia and with international partners.

So once again, we have a strong strategic partnership with Georgia in the defence and security area and we will continue to even further deepen that”, - said Robin Dunnigan.
