Through peaceful neighborhood initiative, we are prepared to engage our neighbors and friendly nations of Armenia and Azerbaijan to finally bring lasting peace to the South Caucasus, said the Prime Minister of Georgia, while delivering his speech on the Tbilisi Silk Road Forum.

“Despite issues posed by our geographic location, regional and global security challenges, including ongoing war in Ukraine and an arm intentions in the Middle East. Through prudent policies and close coordination with our partners, we have managed to keep our people and country safe while contributing as a responsible member of the international community.

Through my government’s peaceful neighborhood initiative, we are prepared to engage our neighbors and friendly nations of Armenia and Azerbaijan to finally bring lasting peace to the South Caucasus. Today, I’m delighted to host both of my dear colleagues, Prime Minister Pashinyan and Prime Minister Asadov.

Needless to say, the permanent peace will benefit all of our countries, the wider region and will bring deserved prosperity to our nations”, - said Irakli Garibashvili.
