“They are clearly annoyed because the new Ambassador [Robin Dunnigan] has a different attitude towards Georgian-American relations.

I would like to recall one detail – we attended a reception held on behalf of the American Ambassador, where the Ambassador addressed the public, and after her speech, of course, we all applauded. There were representatives of the radical opposition, Zurab Japaridze and Elene Khoshtaria, who did not applaud.

Any effort, including those of the American Ambassador, aimed at deepening Georgian-American relations annoys them. They liked the dynamics that existed before, and they don’t like the positive dynamics that exist in these relations today”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
