Such a statement made the Minister of Foreign Affairs, while evaluating the participation in the conference on the EU enlargement in Berlin.

“We are entering a very important phase. By next week, we are already waiting for the conclusion of the European Commission, which will be the ticket for the decision of the European Council in December.

We hope that the EU will make the right decision. During these discussions, our partners spoke that the geopolitical decision will be one of the main factors from the EU and, of course, the merit-based decision. We have a reason for optimism and wait with hope for the conclusion that we will all see together very soon”, - said Ilia Darchiashvili.
