Today, the Parliament and the National Platform of Georgia - Eastern Partnership Civil Society Forum hold the third joint Conference “Georgia’s Road to the European Union”.
The Chairman of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, the EU Ambassador, Pawel Herczynski and the Chairperson of the National Platform, Nino Chkhobadze will open the Conference.
The participants will discuss a positive recommendation related to the granting of the EU candidate status to Georgia and 9 priorities.
The key topics of the agenda are: the judicial reform, electoral process and depolarization, de-oligarchization, media and countering disinformation, compliance of Georgia with the EU common foreign and security policy.
The Conference will be attended by the Parliamentary Majority Leader, Irakli Kobakhidze, MPs and NGOs.
