The Georgian parliamentary delegation led by the Chairman of the Georgian Dream, met the Chairperson of the European Affairs Committee in the Hungarian Parliament.

Judit Varga reconfirmed that Hungarian officials, both legislative and executive, unconditionally support Georgia’s granting EU candidate status.

Irakli Kobakhidze thanked her for her support and expressed a hope that the firm stance of Hungary and other European countries would be reflected in the European Council’s decision on December 14-15.

Led by the Chairman of the ruling party, the Georgian delegation comprises Vice Speaker Giorgi Volski, European Integration Committee Chair Maka Botchorishvili, and MP Irakli Mezurnishvili.
