Sandro Bazadze, the Georgian saber virtuoso dazzled the fencing world with outstanding performances, reads the information, released on the official Facebook page of the Tunis Grand Prix 2024.

“Under the tutelage of coach Christian Bauer at the Cercle d"Escrime Orleanais in France, Bazadze has perfected his agile right hand, quickly becoming the best saber in the world.

Nicknamed “Zorro” for his legendary skills on the track, Bazadze etched his name in history by winning gold at the 2022 European Championships, a first for Georgia. His triumph continued by winning another gold medal at the Tunis Grand Prix in 2023.

With a deep sporting philosophy, Bazadze firmly believes that you have to learn to lose in order to then learn to win. With future-oriented ambitions, he aims for a gold medal at the 2024 Olympics in Paris. France. Bazadze embodies excellence, boldness and the winning spirit of world fencing”.
