Opposition did everything to prevent the country from getting the status, of course, this sabotage has no real perspective. Such a statement made today the Chairman of Georgian Dream, while commenting the words of the Secretary General of European Democrats, Mamuka Gamkrelidze, who said that “some people were going to Brussels and asking that Georgia not be given the status”.

“From time to time, the public will become aware of new evidences related to the opposition’s sabotage of the process of European integration and candidate status.

This is not surprising, the opposition did everything to prevent the country from getting the status. Of course, sabotage will continue in this direction.

The opposition will do everything to hinder our progress in the direction of European integration, however, just like their unsuccessful efforts in terms of candidate status, they will be unsuccessful in the future as well, therefore, this sabotage has no real perspective”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
