Irakli Kobakhidze to replace Irakli Garibashvili as Prime Minister

Irakli Kobakhidze will replace Irakli Garibashvili as the Prime Minister. According to Rustavi 2, the relevant decision was made at the meeting of the Georgian Dream political council held on January 24, which will be made public on February 1.

Besides, it is planned to hold a party congress of Georgian Dream on February 1.

Irakli Kobakhidze held the position of the Chairman of the “Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia” party from 2021.

In addition, he is a member of the Parliament of the 9th and 10th convocations of Georgia.
