Tornike Rijvadze, the Chairman of the Government of Ajara met with Robin Dunnigan, the US Ambassador of Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Georgia.
The meeting focused on the diplomatic / strategic relations between the two countries.
It was noted at the meeting that the strategic partnership between Georgia and the United States is at the highest level and this partnership is crucial for the common interests of the two countries, as well as for the region and Euro-Atlantic security.
The conversation touched on Georgia’s aspiration to European Union integration. The parties reviewed the progress already achieved in this direction and the plans to be implemented.
The Mayor of Batumi, Archil Chikovani, attended the meeting with the US Ambassador.
