The first inter-parliamentary conference of Georgia and Western Balkan countries on European integration issues will be held.
The representatives of the European integration committees of the Western Balkan countries from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Serbia and North Macedonia will participate in the conference.
Within the framework of the conference, they will discuss the EU enlargement policy, the steps taken towards joining the European Union, the agenda of relevant reforms and the role of national parliaments in the process of negotiations.
The conference will be opened by Maka Botchorishvili, Chairwoman of the European Integration Committee of the Parliament of Georgia. The Speaker of the Parliament, Shalva Papuashvili, and the Ambassador of the European Union to Georgia, Pawel Herczynski, will address the attendees with a welcome speech.
