The construction of the port of Anaklia will be one of the main priorities of our Government, said the Prime Minister candidate at the meeting with the opposition, while presenting the Government program.

“As for the ports, the proper start and implementation of the Anaklia project will be a matter of special concern. The works have already started, this year a private company will be selected, which will lead these works. Also, as you know, the state plans to invest multi-millions in this project. Everything will be done according to the plan.

The construction of Anaklia port will be one of the main priorities of our government. Along with this, attention will be paid to the development of other ports and strengthening of resources. This especially applies to the development of Poti port, strengthening of resources. Active work on the Black Sea power transmission cable project will also continue”, - said Irakli Kobakhidze.
