A phone conversation was held today between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.

Ilham Aliyev congratulated Irakli Kobakhidze on his appointment to the Office of Prime Minister and wished him success in his future endeavors. For his part, Irakli Kobakhidze congratulated Ilham Aliyev on winning the recent presidential election.

The conversation touched on further deepening the bilateral cooperation between Georgia and Azerbaijan.
