It is impossible to evaluate the elections competitively when Mikheil Saakashvili is in prison. Such a statement the Chairman of United National Movement made after the meeting with the Ambassador of the European Union Pawel Herczynski.

“I had a very important meeting with the Ambassador of the European Union and the Ambassadors of the EU countries. We talked about 3 priorities and challenges that the “Victory Coalition” has.

These issues were related to the fact that it is impossible to evaluate the elections competitively when the main oppositionist, Mikheil Saakashvili, is in prison.

Second, we provided our partners with up to 300 identified districts where there is the greatest risk of manipulation, falsification. There are about 300 such election precincts in Georgia, where if the public understood, Georgian Dream seems to have 90-95% support. Do you understand that this is impossible?!

Election results are actually being written by hand at these precincts, so we have shared this information with our partners. The 3rd important issue, which we talked about for several hours, is Georgia’s economic opportunities - how should Georgia become an economically successful country, from which our citizens do not flee to EU member states, but have a decent income in Georgia. Georgia itself is a member state of the EU. We discussed how important economic prosperity is in our country and that Georgian citizens have a decent income”, - said Levan Khabeishvili.
